Meet The Horses
King ~ Palomino Quarter Horse. King came to me as a yearling. He was shy and on the thinner side. With love, care and good nutrition King has blossomed into this magnificent beautiful boy. King has a clam gentle and kind demeanour with a humorous side as well. King is a strong leader of the herd here and has raised Willow, Picasso and Ava since they left their moms. He is the true protector of the herd. King is always the first one at the gate nickering to say hello. He is eager to interact with everyone who he sees. King is also known to give the best kisses! Just place your finger to your lips and say “kiss” to see what happens. King is awaiting to share space in healing with you.
Willow ~ Palomino Quarter Horse. I first saw Willow when she was 2 months old, and I was immediately drawn to her kind eyes. She’s the type of horse who when you look into her eyes she redates a calm energy. Although she is on the shyer side don’t let that fool you as she can heal parts of you that you didn’t know needed healing. She is calm, empathetic, nurturing, kind and a gentle soul. Those who have healed with Willow say “if she was a human she would listen to all your problems with an open heart every day.” She truly is one who will help reduce your anxieties and increase and balance your emotional wellness.
Ava ~ Percheron x Quarter Horse. I purchased Ava when she was only hours old, I knew during her first few pictures and videos she was meant to be in the herd. Ava is big and bold. She knows what she wants and will let you know. On the other hand, she is kind, caring, and gentle. Don’t let her size fool you. She has a big heart! Those who have had the opportunity to heal alongside Ava say “she is powerful, magical and knows exactly what she is doing!” Ava is such a powerful healer and conduit of energies she is only participating in the 1:1 portion of the program. Everyone should experience healing session with Ava. You won’t be disappointed!
Picasso ~ Paint Horse. While I was waiting for Ava to be
weaned from her mother I found Picasso, again just hours old. I took one look at him and saw his heart on his back and had to have him. He was my wedding gift from my husband, making him extra special. Upon his arrival he was traumatized, shut down and completely terrified of people and things. I was unable to touch him, groom him or handle him. Everyone wanted me to ‘cowboy him’ and put him into a stall and force him to learn to be handled. In my heart I knew that would do the exact opposite of what I had in mind. I don’t want my horses to be fearful and lose who they are, some horses will completely shut down. I want all my horses to be their true authentic self. Instead, I took time off work and spent every day sitting with him for hours on end. I never asked anything of him, allowing his own natural curiosity help guide him. Since then, he has become an amazing addition to my vision. He will always choose me; I often see him running full speed leaving the other horses in the field to greet me. He has the kindest eyes, when you look into them, he mirrors your emotions with perfection. He reassures you by saying “I have been there too, I got you.” This boy will literally scoop you in close giving a big hug! Picasso is so near and dear to my heart, I hope you can experience the same feelings I get every time I interact with him.
Brandi ~ Quarter Horse. Brandi has recently joined the family. She is the mother to King and Willow. She is on her journey of settling into the farm. She is available to say hello to and would love a treat! She will be making her debut in our program soon!
Diesel ~ Shetland Pony - Diesel loves to be adored by kids. He is kind, sweet, gentle and is our go to for children who are starting out and learning about horses!
